Topics discussed will be around income assistance and security, accessing disability services and lack on information around COVID-19 for the disability community.

Carlos Sosa is a graduate of the University of Winnipeg and is a support worker that supports people with intellectual disabilities who live independently in the community. He is on boards of Inclusion Canada and Inclusion Winnipeg.

Whitney Hodgins is a graduate of Brandon University and is the current Chairperson of MLPD. She is an award winning advocate becoming last year’s Future Leader of Manitoba Award and CBC Manitoba’s Future 40 Finalist recipient for her contributions to disability justice and mental health in the Westman region.
