Representatives from Disability Without Poverty and Barrier Free Manitoba will be sharing their experiences in building campaigns and working with policymakers to create change. With a federal election on the horizon, this is an important to consider how our communities can work with any government to meet our goals. We will also be discussing the importance of lived experience with disability and gifts in the policy-making process, what keeps people at the table, and muddling through difficult times.
